Overview
Run the Simien — 7 Days / 6 Nights
Ethiopia is famous for runners; this is a running journey through Gondar and the Simien Mountains, not a sightseeing tour with a short jog added. Guests run through the historic city, into the highlands and on mountain trails above the escarpment, with coffee stops and time among people who live in the landscape.
This is dirt trails, uneven ground, climbs, descents and altitude with a guide who knows the mountains, communities and terrain. Geladas and other wildlife may be encountered on their terms.
