A three-day trek into the western classic corridor as far as Imet Gogo (~3,926 m), with overnight camps at Sankaber and Geech. The itinerary does not reach Chenek; travellers who specifically want Chenek should choose the 4-Day Classic. Possible start from Buyit Ras; road pickup often in the Ambaras area after Imet Gogo.
