About
Debark
From the Gondar side, Debark is the principal gateway town on the road north toward Simien Mountains National Park. Park arrangements and formalities are completed here before continuing into the mountains. It is the operational hinge between royal-city stays and highland trekking.
On day trips and multi-day programmes Debark is usually a working stop rather than a sightseeing destination. Tevan’s team uses the town for park process, brief supplies and the handoff between city transport and mountain logistics.
